About the Blue-Red Araucana

The blue-red is a black-red in which the Blue gene dilutes the black areas to slate-blue, so the breast and tail are blue-grey rather than black while the hackle, back and saddle keep the rich red. It is essentially the blue counterpart of the black-red and one of the twelve PCGB-standard colours. Lays the breed's blue eggs.
