About the Cuckoo Araucana

The cuckoo shows irregular, slightly blurred barring of dark blue-grey across a paler grey ground, the bars less crisp than true barring so the bird reads as a soft grey-and-charcoal stripe. It is one of the original PCGB-standard colours and one of the more frequently seen patterned Araucanas. As with all Araucanas, it lays naturally blue eggs.
