About the Gold Duckwing Araucana
The golden (gold) duckwing is the gold-pigmented duckwing: cocks show pale straw-gold hackles, back and saddle over a black breast and the duckwing wing bar, with hens a soft grey and salmon. It differs from the silver duckwing only in retaining warm gold rather than white in the male's top colour. One of the twelve PCGB-standard colours and a blue-egg layer like the rest of the breed.
