About the Silver Duckwing Araucana

The silver duckwing is a black-red carrying the Silver gene, which replaces the red pigment with silver-white: cocks have white hackles, back and saddle with a black breast and the characteristic steel-blue wing bar, while hens are silvery-grey with a salmon breast. It is one of the twelve PCGB-standard colours and, with golden duckwing, one of the two duckwing forms. A blue-egg layer.
