About the Grey Asil
Grey in the Asil is the silver duckwing pattern: a silver-white hackle and shoulder with darker, steely body markings rather than the gold of the red colours. It is one of the recognised game colours seen in the breed, though not a fixed British Poultry Standard variety - the Asil has no closed list of UK colours. The grey markings sit over the same hard feather and upright, powerful carriage as every other Asil.
