About the Pile Asil
The Pile Asil mirrors the Black-Red pattern but with white replacing the black: a red-and-white cock with red hackle and saddle over a white breast, and a creamy-white hen flushed with salmon. Pile is one of the game colours found in the breed rather than a separately fixed British variety. The bright two-tone plumage overlays the Asil's tight hard feather and muscular, statuesque frame.
