About the White Ayam Ketawa
The white Ayam Ketawa is a solid, clean-white variant of Indonesia's laughing chicken, an alternative to the more common red-shouldered birds. Since selection prioritises the rooster's rhythmic, almost-human crow over appearance, the breed has no enforced colour standard and white is simply one of the recognised plumage forms rather than a separately standardised variety. It remains an ornamental bird of modest size that lays tinted eggs and broods well.
