About the Lavender Belgian Bearded d'Anvers
Lavender — also called self blue — is a uniform, silvery pearl-grey produced by the lavender gene, even and soft across the whole bird with none of the dark lacing or splash seen in true blue. It gives this bearded, rose-combed Belgian bantam a quietly elegant, single-tone coat. (Lavender and self blue are the same colour under different names.)
