About the Salmon Belgian Bearded d'Anvers

Salmon (saumon doré, golden salmon) is one of the colours recognised in the breed's Belgian home standards, taking its name from the warm pinkish-buff salmon tone the hens carry on breast and body against a darker partridge-type ground, with the cock more strongly marked. It is an uncommon colour that dresses the d'Anvers' beard and high breast in soft, muted shades.
