About the Lavender Belgian Bearded d'Uccle

A self lavender (the UK "self blue"): the recessive lavender gene dilutes black pigment to a uniform soft bluish-grey across the entire bird. Unlike blue, lavender breeds true, so two lavenders produce only lavenders. The even pastel coat sits well with the breed's full beard and booted feet. Listed by the Entente Européenne among recognised d'Uccle colours.
