About the Citroen Booted Bantam
Citroen is the European name for the colour the British call lemon millefleur: a millefleur pattern in which the warm mahogany ground is replaced by a softer lemon-gold, keeping the white-spangled, black-crescented tricolour effect but in a paler, cooler key. It is recognised in British Poultry Standards as lemon millefleur. The dappled pattern carries over the heavy foot feathering of this ornamental true bantam.
