About the Millefleur Booted Bantam

Millefleur ('thousand flowers') is the showiest Booted colour and the breed's most familiar: a tricolour pattern of mahogany-gold feathers, each tipped with a white spangle over a black crescent, so the bird looks dappled all over. It is standardised by the Poultry Club of Great Britain and recognised by the APA. The full pattern shows best on the abundant foot and hock feathering of this small ornamental true bantam.
