About the Porcelain Booted Bantam
Porcelain is the lavender-diluted form of millefleur: the same spangled tricolour pattern but softened to a pastel of straw-cream ground, pale blue-grey markings and white tips, giving a delicate, faded look. Genetically it is millefleur carrying the lavender gene, and it is recognised by both the Poultry Club of Great Britain and the American Poultry Association. The pattern carries through the heavy foot feathering and vulture hocks of this ornamental true bantam.
