About the Silver Spangled Brabanter
The Silver Spangled mirrors the Gold pattern on a silvery-white ground, each feather tipped with a black half-moon (V-shaped) spangle for a bold black-on-white speckling. It carries the typical Brabanter character — the upward-pointing V-crest, trim beard and V-comb — and lays white eggs. One of the two most popular and recognised Brabanter colours, though the breed overall remains rare and is kept chiefly as an ornamental heritage fowl.
