About the Buff Columbian Brahma

Buff Columbian is the British name for the Buff: it is marked identically to the Light Brahma but with the white replaced throughout by an even, rich golden buff, leaving black Columbian markings in the hackle and tail. Standardised in Britain in 1924. The name makes the Columbian pattern explicit, distinguishing it from solid-buff or partridge colours.
