About the Cuckoo Breda
Cuckoo Bredas show the familiar barred pattern, each feather crossed by alternating bands of light and dark grey-blue. Notably, most of the breed's 20th-century imports were of this colour, so cuckoo is one of the better-established Breda varieties despite the breed's overall rarity. It carries all the hallmark Breda traits: no comb at all, cavernous nostrils, vulture hocks and feathered legs, with white eggs.
