About the White Breda
The white Breda is a clean self-white bird, one of the colours present among the small number imported in the early 1900s and never as widespread as black or cuckoo. The plain white plumage throws the breed's most unusual features into sharp relief — the total absence of a comb, the large open nostrils and the feathered legs with vulture hocks. A genuinely scarce colour within an already rare old Dutch breed laying white eggs.
