About the Silver Laced Cochin
A laced variety with a silvery-white ground feather, each feather outlined by a sharp black border that follows the feather's edge to give a scaled, laced effect over the whole body. Silver laced is not a UK large-fowl Cochin colour but was standardised by the APA in 1965. The clean black-on-white lacing draws the eye across the breed's broad, profusely feathered form.
