About the White Cochin
A pure self-white Cochin, snow-white throughout including the heavily feathered legs and feet, free of any yellow, brassiness or ticking. It is one of the four foundation Cochin colours accepted by the APA in 1874 and recognised for UK large fowl by the Cochin Club of Great Britain. The clean white emphasises the breed's enormous soft, fluffy mass that so captivated Victorian fanciers.
