About the White Croad Langshan
The White Croad Langshan is a pure white-plumaged form developed from the original black birds, first appearing in England in the 1880s. It is infrequently encountered and notably scarcer than the black, but retains the breed's tall, elegant heavy frame, lightly feathered legs and reputation as a good winter layer of dark brown eggs. Its clean white plumage contrasts with the breed's typical dark legs and skin tone.
