About the Black Dutch Bantam

The Black is a self-coloured Dutch Bantam, solid black throughout with a strong green-beetle sheen in good light, carried on the breed's characteristic slate-blue legs and set off by bright white earlobes. It is one of the self colours standardised by the Poultry Club of Great Britain, a clean contrast to the breed's many patterned partridge forms.
