About the Crele Dutch Bantam

Crele (also called Cuckoo Partridge) combines the partridge pattern with the cuckoo barring gene, so the gold and black of partridge is broken into soft barred bands, the cock showing a barred golden-orange and grey. Like the Cuckoo, Crele is an exception to the breed's slate-leg rule and instead has light legs that may carry a few dark spots. It is one of the patterned colours standardised in Britain.
