About the Cuckoo Faverolles
A cuckoo (barred) Faverolles, its feathers crossed by alternating light and dark bands — typically the softer, less crisply-defined barring associated with cuckoo rather than clean barring. One of the UK-standardised colours but distinctly uncommon. The pattern lies over the breed's fluffy plumage, full beard, muffs and feathered feet, on the same docile dual-purpose bird that lays a light tinted egg.
