About the Splash Faverolles
A splash Faverolles — the double-blue form (two copies of the blue gene), giving a pale off-white to silvery ground splashed with irregular slate-blue markings. Splash arises from blue-to-blue breeding and, crossed back to black, reliably produces blue offspring, so it is valued as a breeding tool as much as for its own pale, mottled look. Uncommon, and unmistakably Faverolles with beard, muffs, feathered legs and the fifth toe.
