About the Blue Laced Indian Game
The Blue Laced (double-laced blue) shows blue in every place the Dark shows black, giving a softer, slate-blue double lacing over the chestnut-mahogany ground rather than crisp black. It is produced by the blue dilution gene acting on the Dark pattern and, like blue in other breeds, does not breed wholly true. The rarest of the three UK-recognised Indian Game colours and often regarded as the most striking, it retains the breed's heavily muscled, broad-breasted meat type and small tinted eggs.
