About the Jubilee Indian Game
The Jubilee replaces the Dark's black with white, so the female shows white double lacing on a chestnut-mahogany ground, white head hackle and throat, with the inner lacing on the breast prized for distinctness; the male is largely white with chestnut and bay markings. Genetically it is the heterozygous form (Ii) of an incomplete-dominant gene that suppresses black pigment, sitting between the Dark and the all-white bird. Named for Queen Victoria's Jubilee, it is one of the colours standardised in the UK and carries the same broad-breasted meat conformation as the breed.
