About the White Indian Game
The White is the solid-white form of the Indian Game, genetically the homozygous version (II) of the incomplete-dominant gene that progressively suppresses pigment from Dark to Jubilee to White, so it carries the most complete loss of black and red colour. It is not among the three colours recognised in the UK standard, but is accepted by the Entente Européenne in Europe and was added to the American standard in 1898. Beneath the white plumage it has the same short-legged, immensely broad and deep-breasted meat conformation that made the breed the foundation of the modern broiler.
