About the Mottled Japanese Bantam
Black plumage tipped with white spots (mottling), the ideal being evenly sized, regularly distributed spots over the bird, the white increasing with each moult. This patterned variety carries the typical short-legged, big-tailed Chabo type and is a long-established colour in the breed.
