About the Gold Kraienkoppe
Gold is the other original Kraienkoppe colour and a gold-duckwing (partridge) pattern: the cock is a black-breasted red with golden-orange hackle and saddle and a black breast and tail, the hen brown and finely pencilled with a salmon breast. It shows off the breed's game-bred Malay ancestry and upright carriage, and like the silver it is a UK-recognised but uncommon colour in this rare, weatherproof forager.
