About the Cuckoo Leghorn

The Cuckoo Leghorn shows the soft, irregular barring of the cuckoo pattern — alternating bands of dark blue-grey and paler grey across each feather, less crisp than true barring. It is one of the British Leghorn Club's recognised but uncommon colours. The blurred grey patterning sits well against the red comb and white earlobes of this active, hard-laying white-egg breed.
