About the Silver Duckwing Leghorn
The Silver Duckwing is the silver-ground form of the duckwing: cocks show white/silver hackle, back and saddle, a black breast and tail, and a green-black wing bar across the wings; hens are clear silver-grey with a salmon breast. Like the gold form it was developed in Britain in the late 1880s. Recognised in the British standard and a fully typical light, active white-egg-laying Leghorn.
