About the Mottled Malay
One of the tallest chickens in the world — some birds stand over 90cm — the Malay is an ancient Asian gamefowl of immense, upright presence, all hard feathering, beetle brows and long legs. A poor layer of small tinted eggs, it's kept for its sheer character and show-ring drama rather than production. A bold, rare breed for the dedicated enthusiast.
