About the Spangled Malay
The spangled Malay carries a ground colour broken by a white spangle at the tip of each feather, giving a flecked, mottled-looking coat over the breast and body that sets it apart from the self and game-patterned colours. It is one of the five colours recognised by the Poultry Club of Great Britain and was admitted to the APA Standard in 1981. The eye-catching spangling is displayed across the breed's vast, upright, hard-feathered frame.
