About the Mixed Bantam (Lucky Dip)

A lucky-dip hatch of mixed bantam eggs — a genuine assortment of these miniature chickens rather than one set breed. Because bantams range from tiny true bantams to scaled-down versions of larger breeds, plumage, feather type, size and egg colour vary from bird to bird, so every clutch is a surprise. Expect small, tame, characterful birds — often keen to go broody — with the odd striking crest, feathered feet or unusual colour from ornamental parentage.
