About the Mixed Hybrid Layers (Lucky Dip)
A lucky-dip selection of commercial-style laying hybrids rather than a single colour, drawn from strains developed from pure breeds such as Rhode Island Red and Leghorn and selected purely for production. Expect a cheerful spread of plumage and characters across the group — browns, blacks, speckled and blue-grey birds — most laying around 280-300 tinted eggs a year. Hardy, docile and quick to settle, they are the dependable garden all-rounders bred for a full egg basket, not the show bench.

12x eggs from our mixed hybrid flock. The flock has two brothers as the fathers, who are both chill as they grew up together, and handled. The flock is a mixed bag of breeds such as Cheshire Blue, Bluebell, Silkie-Crosses, Wheaten Maran, Ayem Cemani, Indian Game, and Cross Breed mixes. It really is a rainbow lucky dip!
