About the Blue Modern Game
A self blue: an even slate-grey to blue plumage produced by the single blue dilution gene acting on black, often with slightly darker lacing on the neck and saddle. Like the black and white selfs it shows no pattern, letting the breed's elegant upright carriage dominate. Recognised as one of the thirteen Poultry Club of Great Britain colours.
