About the Buff Naked Neck
A warm, even golden-buff plumage over the characteristic featherless red neck. Buff is one of the four varieties recognised by the American Poultry Association and is also part of the full UK standard. Underneath the reduced feathering sits the same hardy, good-natured dual-purpose bird that lays light-brown eggs and copes well with heat and cold alike.
