About the Gold Duckwing Old English Game

The gold (golden) duckwing cock shows a yellow-gold hackle and saddle over a black breast, with the characteristic blue-black wing bar and a green-black tail; hens are grey-bodied with a salmon breast. Recognised in both Carlisle and Oxford standards, it is the gold-shouldered version of the duckwing pattern and a long-favoured colour of this ancient British game fowl.
