About the Lemon Blue Old English Game
The lemon blue combines a pale lemon-gold hackle and saddle with a slate-blue body, the blue dilution acting on what would otherwise be the black of a birchen-type bird. A recognised Carlisle colour, it is one of the softer, more delicate combinations in the Old English Game palette, contrasting bright lemon against muted blue-grey.
