About the Black Orloff
A self-black variety, solid black to the skin from head to tail in both sexes with a beetle-green sheen over the feathering. One of the PCGB-standardised Orloff colours, the dense black plumage suiting the breed's cold-defying, thick-necked, bearded build; lays tinted eggs.
