About the Black-Breasted Orloff

A black-breasted red (game-type) pattern from the Orloff's older Russian colour range, in which the cock carries red-brown hackle and saddle over a black breast and tail. It is one of the breed's historic Russian varieties rather than a current PCGB-standardised colour, so it is rare and seldom shown in the UK. Carried on the same tall, bearded, cold-hardy frame that lays tinted eggs.
