About the Silver Laced Orpington
A silver-white ground feather sharply rimmed in black gives this Orpington a dramatic black-and-white laced pattern across its full, rounded body — the silver counterpart to the gold laced. It is among the rarest and most sought-after Orpington colours and is not yet recognised by the American Poultry Association. Underneath the lacing it remains a typical Orpington: large, calm and heavily feathered.
