About the Millefleur Pekin Bantam
Millefleur ("thousand flowers") sets a rich mahogany ground, each feather marked with a crescent black bar and tipped with a white V-shaped spangle, building a dense speckled pattern across the bird. It is a popular ornamental colour with breeders but is not among the colours standardised by the Pekin Club of Great Britain. The intricate marking shows beautifully on the breed's profusely feathered, ball-like shape.
