About the Red Pekin Bantam
A self (solid) colour Pekin in a deep, even red throughout, with no black breast or partridge markings, set against the breed's signature yellow beak and legs. Red is among the rarer Pekin colours, established in some standards and increasingly seen on the show bench. Like all Pekins it is a true bantam, ball-shaped with profuse foot feathering, docile and a famously good broody.
