About the White Phoenix
The White Phoenix is a self-white variety, recessive white plumage giving a clean all-over white bird that sets off the breed's single red comb, white earlobes and exceptionally long flowing tail. White is one of the six colours formally recognised in Germany. It shares the breed's ornamental purpose entirely, kept for exhibition rather than egg or table production.
