About the Black Poland

A self-black Poland — even, beetle-green-lustred black across the whole body and crest, with no white crest cap. One of the breed's oldest self colours, recognised among the original show classifications. The laced and self varieties carry muffling and a beard, unlike the clean-faced white-crested types. A purely ornamental bird laying small white eggs.
