About the Buff Laced Poland
A spectacular variety with a warm golden-buff ground, each feather neatly edged in creamy white lacing rather than the black of gold-laced birds — historically produced by crossing Gold Spangled Polands with whites. Polish is essentially the only breed in which this buff-with-white lacing (chamois) is standardised. Bearded and muffed, with a fully laced crest, it is among the most ornamental of all Polands.
