About the Frizzled White-Crested Black Poland
The White-Crested Black pattern — lustrous black body with a pure white crest — carried on the frizzle gene, so every feather curls outward and upward, giving a tousled, windswept texture across both crest and body. The frizzle adds a further ornamental twist to an already flamboyant crested breed; bred straight-to-frizzle to avoid the brittle 'frazzle' of double frizzle. Ornamental, laying small white eggs.
