About the Gold Laced Poland
A rich golden-bay ground with each feather crisply edged in black lacing carried right to the tip and up into the crest — one of the breed's foundational colours, standardised in 1865. Bearded and muffed, it pairs the breed's enormous globe-shaped crest with bold, regular feather markings. A purely ornamental bird laying small white eggs.
