About the White-Crested Cuckoo Poland
Distinguished by cuckoo barring — irregular bands of blue-grey and white across the body feathers — set beneath a pure white crest. A scarce, less-commonly-seen colour within the breed, shown clean-faced like the other white-crested varieties. Carries all the breed's ornamental traits: the enormous pom-pom crest, small white eggs and skittish, vision-obscured temperament.
